How could Dad not approve? He's an art appreciating young man (tattooed) which shows intelligence, education, and appreciation of beauty and the finer things in life.
He has a guitar, which could mean he is either playing, or learning to play...again, educated, talented, appreciates music, and he's too old to be forced into lessons by parents....he's seeking it out on his own. A definite sign of passion. Commitment to what he loves. That is a plus. A man who takes his commitments seriously is a good thing.
He looks clean enough, and he must work, tattooes are VERY expensive, and he has several, as well as a lot of leather accessories....he probably has a good income. Maybe he's an artist, or a musician professionally.
He's cute....which never hurts....
